Privacy Policy

What we collect

• When you write to us: your name, email, business name, topic and message.
• When you book and pay: your name, email, phone number, billing address, business name and your answers to our booking questions. Your card number is entered on our payment processor’s page. We never see or store your full card number.
• When we work together: what you tell us about your business, our notes, and the written plan we send you.
• When you visit the site: we use cookie-free analytics that count page views, the page you came from, your country and your device type. We see totals, not a profile of you. Our website host processes your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
• We don’t use advertising pixels or tracking cookies.
• This website doesn’t set cookies. Our payment and scheduling pages are run by our providers on their own sites, and they may use cookies under their own policies.
• We don’t ask for Social Security numbers, ID documents, bank logins or card numbers through this site. If a filing you hire us for needs sensitive information, we’ll explain in writing how we’ll collect, protect and delete it before we ask.

How we use it

To answer you, schedule and hold your consultation, deliver your plan and any work you hire us for, take payment, keep business and tax records, keep the site secure, and follow the law.

AI tools

We may use an AI tool to help draft your written plan. We only use AI tools with training on your information turned off. A person reviews every plan before it’s sent.

Who we share it with

• Providers who help us run the business: payments, scheduling, video meetings, email, forms, website hosting and analytics, and AI tools. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Government agencies, when you hire us to file something for you.
• Our own accountants or lawyers, who keep it confidential.
• Anyone the law requires us to share it with.
• A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized. They must follow this policy.

How long we keep it

• Messages that don’t lead to a booking: up to 2 years.
• Client and billing records: 7 years, for tax and accounting reasons.
• Analytics: totals only.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@kapitelle.com. We reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as billing records, when the law requires it. We honor Global Privacy Control signals, though we don’t sell or share your information to begin with.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfect. If a breach affects your information, we’ll notify you as New York law requires (N.Y. General Business Law § 899-aa).

Children

Our services are for adults and businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
