About Kapitelle
Kapitelle is a business consulting firm based in Brooklyn, New York. We help founders build companies that are financially stronger, better run and ready to grow. That means setting the strategy, handling the filings, getting the books and capital in order, writing down how the business runs, and finding the next customers and contracts.
We work with founders that traditional firms often overlook. We know their businesses well, and we build our advice around the realities they face.
Our founder
Khila James
Khila James has spent her career building businesses and helping other founders build theirs. She founded Haus of Business, where she advised more than 150 startups and grew the company past $2.5 million in revenue.
She is a certified credit counselor. She is also completing her J.D. at Brooklyn Law School, where she is an International Business Law Fellow. Khila is not an attorney, and Kapitelle does not provide legal services.

We quote before we start. You see the price for any follow-on work, in writing, before we begin.
We tell you what we don’t do. We don’t give legal, tax or financial advice. When a question needs a licensed professional, we say so.
We don’t promise outcomes. No one can promise a loan, a grant or a certification. We make sure your application is complete and correct.
The name
A capitelle is a dry-stone hut from the south of France, built by hand, without mortar, to last. We chose the name because that’s the kind of business we help people build.
